And It Came to Pass . . .

And it came to pass in the fourth year of the reign of George W. Bush, Justin begat Bowen, and Megatron was controlled by Bowen, and Megatron did take hold of the town of Bethlehem, and they did go down to battle in a place called the end table.

And there was much blood shed. And in that year, 2008, the town of Bethlehem was utterly destroyed. And thus we see what shall come to pass when a four year old boy is allowed to play with the nativity.

Slow Dance with Grandma

The "far away grandma" came for a visit a few weeks ago, and Bowen had quite a good time spending time with her. They danced and read stories while Dad made cookies. Grandma is much funner than Mom and Dad!

Bowen had a good time helping with all the Christmas decorations. I decided to do black and red and silver on the tree this year. Bowen was excited about the black ornaments. He said they were from Star Wars The Clone Wars. I don't know why exactly because I hate Star Wars, but Justin says it's because they look like the death star (whatever that is). Anywho, it made Bowen extra excited about the ornaments.

Justin posted these pics a while ago, and I thought I better explain what they were. Bowen got this tupperware full of beans for his birthday. He loves to sit in it and dig with tractors or whatever. He also loves to shut himself in with the beans. It looks a little creepy if you ask me.

I Am Crazy

I did a crazy thing and went to the Midnight Premier of Twilight. I give it an overall thumbs up. Of course, nothing can live up to my imagination (or yours for that matter.) But, I enjoyed going out with my fun girl friends and was able to stay awake---yay!!! I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, even if I'd have changed a few things about it. I even went to work the next day, and it was a very productive work day at that. I haven't been able to kick this cold I've had for the past week, though, so I'm sure the lack of sleep didn't help. Oh, well, you have to just let loose once in a while, right?!?!?!

Preschool Pictures

I thought I would post Bowen's Preschool pictures and give a little update about how it's going. He goes through all these phases where he's afraid of different things, but Preschool has NOT been one of them. It has been so positive for him; I couldn't be more pleased. He really loves his teachers and I think they love him, too!

My Baby Turns Four!

Okay, he's not really a baby anymore, but Bowen turned four this week. My little precious pants will always be Mommy's little baby. I certainly can't imagine life without him.
